Moving Sessions: a space to explore motion and dance. Moving Sessionsare open-level dance classes hosted on the first and third Tuesday of each month. In contrast to a traditional dance technique class, Moving Sessions are focused not on codified shapes and styles, but instead on the connection between body and mind. Using improvisation-based prompts, individuals are encouraged to let imagination guide their bodies through new and unexpected movement pathways. We all have bodies that move and think and dance – Moving Sessions are meant as an open, playful, imaginative space to deepen your relationship with your body and how it moves.
